FAQ

Do you use real flowers and plants?

Yes. All the plants I work with are real, some are dyed for color variation. All flowers, moss, lichen, and fungi are ethically sourced from the private property I live on.

Will dried flowers fade over time?

I make sure to fully dry all plants before working with them.  I also seal my flowers before casting them in resin. This will help retain the color. Over time, it is only natural for real flowers to fade a bit. Prolonged, direct sunlight exposure can speed this process up.

How do I care for resin pieces?

Resin jewelry should be removed when showering, swimming, exercising, and sleeping. Avoid contact with lotions, oils, perfumes, etc. Apply your self care products and let them fully dry on your skin before wearing your jewelry. You can gently polish and buff with a soft cloth. Do not submerge in water or scrub. Store in a cool place, out of direct sunlight and extreme heat.

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

I use a variety of metals. All are nickel and lead free. Each item listing will have a detailed description of all materials, in light of allergies.

Will natural dyed fabric fade when washed?

I use natural fibers, and pretreat them by scouring and mordanting. These methods will help ensure the dye properly adhears to the fabric and will not quickly wash out. Store out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

How do I care for my natural dyed pieces?

You may handwash or machine wash on a gentle cycle, with cold water and a PH neutral soap, and I reccomend air drying.

***Slight variations may occur. Since I'm working with natural plants, each piece may be slightly different from photos. Color, shape, and placement of plants may vary. This is what makes each individual piece special and unique. I am foraging, drying, and handcrafting each individual item. While working with resin there may be slight imperfections such as air bubbles. I do my best to carefully remove most.***
